Located in the village square, it is one of the most expensive restaurants in the area. Meals are served either outside on the patio, or in the elegant surroundings inside. As well as prime cuts of fresh fish, meats and seafood, specialities include first class paella. Family friendly with entertainment in summer. Open all year round for lunch and dinner.

Located on Caneiros beach between Carvoeiro and Ferragudo. This restaurant offers a high quality of fresh fish and local dishes which just happens to be on one of the most beautiful beaches. There is always a great selection on offer that can be plain grilled or oven roasted and then de-boned at your table. As a special treat ask for the giant red prawns. A fabulous selection of fine wines and champagnes are available but booking is essential. Open daily for b/fast lunch and dinner. They do not accept credit cards.

For the ultimate in fresh fish, charcoal grilled to perfection, head for O Sueste at the end of the fisherman's quay. Simple surroundings with great sunset views across the river to Portimao. Reservations are not accepted so arrive early to avoid waiting for a table. Open for lunch and dinner, closed Mondays.

Situated on the road to Silves. Take the EN124 to Silves and take the Palmeirinha exit. At the junction go left and then first right, the restaurant can be found approximately half a kilometer on the left hand side. Plenty of parking. Very friendly family run restaurant, the restaurant has a wide selection of local Portuguese and fish dishes.
